Information we do not collect

We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials. All card data is entered directly into the payment provider’s secure environment and never reaches our servers.

3. How we use your information

  • To register you for courses and deliver training, materials and recordings
  • To create and manage your LMS account and track your progress
  • To process payments, issue invoices and handle refund requests
  • To confirm course dates and communicate schedule changes
  • To issue certificates of completion
  • To respond to enquiries and provide customer support
  • To display prices in the correct currency for your location
  • To send you course updates, offers and educational content, where you have opted in
  • To measure the performance of our advertising and improve our website
  • To detect fraud, prevent abuse and secure our systems
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Legal grounds for processing

We process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract (delivering the training you purchased), your consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (website security, service improvement, advertising measurement), and compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These fall into four groups.

Strictly necessary — Required for the site to function. These manage your login session, your shopping cart, your checkout process and your course progress. These cannot be switched off.

Performance and caching — Used to deliver pages quickly, including our caching layer and our content delivery network, which serves images and files from a server near you.

Analytics — We use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate.

Advertising and retargeting — We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and Google advertising tags. These allow us to measure the results of our advertising campaigns and to show TASK ads to people who have visited our website. They may set cookies and share a hashed, non-readable identifier with those platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of LinkedIn advertising through your LinkedIn account settings, and out of Meta advertising through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent checkout and course access from working.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business:

  • Payments: Fawaterk, Fawry, OPay and PayPal, for processing transactions and preventing fraud
  • Communications: our email and newsletter provider, our live chat provider, and WhatsApp for course coordination
  • Certifying bodies: where a certification requires it, we share your name, email and exam registration details with CPSCP, CIPS or the relevant awarding body in order to register you and issue your credential

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order or a competent regulatory authority, or to protect our legal rights.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside Egypt, including in the European Union and the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s own safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

8. How long we keep your data

  • Enrolment, attendance and certification records: retained permanently, so we can verify your credential on request
  • Financial and invoicing records: retained for the period required by Egyptian tax law
  • Marketing contact data: retained until you unsubscribe
  • Website analytics and advertising data: retained according to each platform’s default period, typically up to 26 months
  • Support conversations: retained up to 24 months

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation where it applies to you, you may:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
  • Request your data in a portable format

Send any request to info@task-tc.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that deleting your account will remove your access to purchased courses and does not entitle you to a refund.

10. Marketing communications

If you opt in, we may send you course announcements, offers and educational content. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential service messages about a course you have purchased.

11. Data security

We use HTTPS encryption across the entire site, a web application firewall, malware scanning, access controls limiting staff access to what their role requires, and regular backups. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

12. Children

Our services are intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

Our website links to external sites, including certifying bodies and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal data.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
